Pumpkin carving how-to writing!

We learned about transition words in 2nd grade! We used them to write each step for carving a pumpkin! Then we got to perform each step!

Scary sizes!

First graders are learning to measure! We used our rulers to draw some spooky ghost 12 inches tall and 7 inches wide!

Miss April has been working very hard on her "Very bad day" writing assignment. She has a great "hook" and has learned a great deal about synonyms this week. April's writing is so exciting as she has switched out the boring adjective, bad for more exciting words such as terrible and crummy throughout her whole story!
